Just thought I would touch base and let you know that my students absolutely LOVE High School’s Not Forever! I read it to all my classes at the beginning to get them settled in, and they always ask me to read more! Some have really opened up about stuff in front of all their classmates while others have dropped notes in my mailbox or knocked on my door between classes to raise some serious issues. And it has been an excellent conversation starter in my Sex Ed class—many students have asked questions in all honesty and ignorance, about many topics discussed in the book. I LOVE it!

Powerful! This is a must read for children, parents and teachers. There is no way to effectively parent or teach our children without fully appreciating how vastly different their experience is of school truly is. This book offers a window into the chaotic world of our students. It’s about time somebody put this kind of time and effort into opening our eyes.

Congratulations on the new book. I've had a look at the site and I must say I'm impressed. From my exerperiences in high schools in recent times, what you have to say is relevant and long overdue. I think the chapter on identity is just so important. Knowing who you are and learning to understand and value self is just crucial to persoanl well-being and to social harmony.

Thank you so much for the book. It is just wonderful! I've been reading a little every night before bed. It's just so honest and insightful.

I would like thank you for sending me a copy ofyour new book. What a nice surprise. I've already put it to good use. My husband and I are shelter parents for youth in crisis, meaning that we provide emergency housing for teens in crisis up to two weeks at a time. We recently housed a 16 yo girl who was having great difficulty with parents who are substance abusers. I offerred her your book while she was here and she didn't put it down until she left us. My hope is that it helped her gain some perspective on her situation... I will use the coupon offer for purchasing additional books for our school library when I return to school next week.
