Speaking Out Against Acts of Hatred

The only way to change racist attitudes, comments and behavior is to speak out against them. It only takes a few vocal people who get upset at these behaviors to encourage others to do the same. As more people take offense at acts of hatred, those acts are, in fact, discouraged. When a “hater” encounters large numbers of people who do not hold the same prejudices, that person can change behaviors, and the beliefs behind those behaviors, as well.
